Aptech have had extensive experience integrating material storage into a wide range of processes
We have gained significant experience in the way in which materials behave and change characteristics from delivered state and during consolidation storage periods
Through exposure and observation we have a keen understanding of the material wall and internal friction effects along with the stored atmosphere and environment’s that lead to problematic or trouble free operation
All our designs receive attention to ensure the correct type of flow within the storage hopper or silo for the particular material in hand. Important factors such as discharge cone shape and geometry as well as the correct selection of discharge technique which may be a combination of spot aeration, surface fluidisation and mechanical extraction
