Sack Handling

Sack Tipping Stations

Our range of sack tipping stations provide a safe, dust free method of manually emptying bags and sacks containing powders and granules.

The operator places the sack on the table and opens the door which automatically activates the dust filter fan. This provides a through draught of air, ensuring any dust from the sack is drawn up into the sack tip unit and away from the operator's face. The operator slits the sack with a knife and empties the contents into the hopper. A safety grid prevents the sack falling into the hopper. When finished, the door is closed which stops the dust filter fan and activates the reverse jet cleaning cycle. When material has been discharged, a low level probe activates an impact vibrator, ensuring complete discharge.

Features:

  • Various discharge aids- vibrators, aeration, stirrers
  • Dosing and feeding devices
  • Empty bag compactor
  • Dust removal to central dust collection system
  • Weighing systems and controllers
  • Multiple recipe systems
  • Hazardous area systems
  • Sacks up to 50kg and 1m long
  • Throughputs up to 6 tph
  • Hoppers 0.1-1.5m
